My lathe has been down for over a year and I’ve been pretty excited to get it up and running. It still has some things to work out but works as good as I need. So I’m back in the saddle again as Tom would say. I’ve been on it constently my wife thinks I’m nuts, its just the OCD coming out in me. Love to all.

Mike the bowl it beautiful. Hopefully I will get to work on some projects soon. I have the walls up in my shop now. I am going to paint the cinder blocks this weekend to help with humidity. I bought a dehumidifier last weekend and once I get the blocks painted I should be able to get the humidity down below 60%. I can’t wait to see more turnings.

Glad to see you up and turning, Brother Mike. I blew out my v-belt awhile back and it wasn’t good to not have a lathe handy when needed/wanted. Splendid to see you at it.

Glad to have you back in the shop again. Did you say your wife thinks you are nuts or she wants to use it for a nut bowl? Nice bowl I like the color.

Hi mike;
Fantastic looking bowl.
Plain ole spalted maple? How can you say that?
I’m a little concerned about you being in a saddle though.

Thanks guys, don’t worry Lee I was speaking metaphorically. My scrotum could’nt take it. Thanks Joe, it looks like I have a way to go to catch up to you, if I ever could catch up to you. Did you carve those lateral lines in that last bowl? It looks very cool.
