Entertainment center I designed and built from Red Oak Lumber I had harvested a few years back. I drew several patterns before I settled on the door design from some of the Antique French Armories I had seen which I modified to suit may taste. The decorative hardware I purchase at an Antique dealer that also refurbish, salvages/ reclaims Antique components. The drawer slides are all full extension slides, on the four storage drawers and, the Door slides are all rack and pinion from Rockers. The feet are Bunn type feet my wife liked so I turned them on my Lathe. The stain is a stain I made from Walnut husk (Boiled seeped, strained and then mixed with Denatured Alcohol.) The finish is Clear Lacquer top coat over a Lacquer sander sealer. The Big radius Crown is the radius of a 10 saw blade I used a jig to cross feed the stock across the Table saw Blade cross wise (Slow Feed and Slow Stock Speed) I used a ½”core box bit to cut the grooves to get the Pilaster trim effect on each side top and Bottom. I quickly learned that the top section of the doors had to be rolled on to the door panel before the rails were attached the hook must be inserted and rolled into position. I have a center section on the back panel with peg board holes for extra ventilation this section is removable to access the hooks Etc.
