Project Information

This jewelry box was a gift for my son's girlfriend. Her requirement was for a place to hang necklaces. I found this plan on Woodcraft and pretty much followed it exactly. The main wood is cherry and the accent wood is some scrap maple burl. As folks that make small objects know, smaller is not easier, in fact the opposite is true - a nice challenge.

The waterfall glass is an elegant touch which adds more visual interest to the piece.

This was very well received and I believe I will make another.

Cool idea, combining the glass doors in jewelry box.

Boy, that is nice. That glass is a wonderful addition. Looks better than the plane glass in the picture of the website you posted. I had to bookmark that one.

You did sooo good!

Nice work! Did you put a material inside the drawers? like velvet or something.
