Several scraps were lying around in my save box from various cutting boards and other projects. I started gluing up the blanks to make the mallet heads. I wasn’t sure about the handles and decided to try some different things. One of the first wood turned items I made is the lighter handle, while the other green handle is made from recycled skateboards! I glued up several layers and then rounded it on the horizontal sander. All in all, fun skill builders.

Very nice and well made tools. Great use of scraps and turning them to functional pieces.

Have your say...
