I made a laptop table for my wife last fall, when my D.I.L.’s saw hers they ask for one as a Christmas present Lisa, D.I.L. #2, who writes books on her lap top, ask if I could make the top tip. I used 3/4” dowels as stretchers on the top support arms and attached the top with wooden babbit bearings. I then purchased lid supports to hold the lid at an angle. I did have to replace the plastic friction washers with thin leather washers that I cut from thin pieces of leather scraps. Thanks for looking.
