Some simple award plaques. The base is Australian redwood for most of them and one is stained Rimu. Being a plastic fabricator I was able to score some clear scrap acrylic for the actual plaques and then use our home vinyl cutter for the logo and words.
The base was then drilled 3/4 the way through and then cut in half. We then had to use plastic sharpened drill bits for the Acrylic (these bits are backed off so not to chip or splinter the plastic) the align the holes for the plaque. Finally dowel is used to hold them together.
The guys that won them thought they were great and we thought they came out okay as well.
