I made this “little” CAT truck for my 1 year old boy, the first in the CAT fleet. Made with pine
He is still too young to enjoy it, so the sister will be playing with it for now.

I have to say, the paint job was, well, not allowed to swear on this site, so let’s leave it at that.
As you can see, the yellow needed a 3rd cote, perhaps even a 4th. but I decided, hey, now you can still see the wood, and left it like it is.

Thanks for looking.

Yeah, I can see the paint job being a pain in the rear… but you did good with it. Excellent build, too.

Our Mason Dixon Woodworkers makes over a 1,000 toys a year for families in need at Christmas. We must choose colored woods to give character… not paint finishes… as we cannot take a chance on potential toxic products.

His smile shows his appreciation already! Congratulations.

G’Day “Riaan”, I’m not too sure about him being too young to enjoy the truck, that smile is priceless….
He’ll have hours and hours fun & play for years to come, well done, sir…

So cool truck, has very nice details especially on the wheels. With that precious smile, I think he’s enjoying it a lot. Great job!

Have your say...
