Project Information

I finally got around to building a French cleat storage wall. I used every inch of space I could think of. It was fun to figure out different ways of hanging things. I found quite a few things that don't work so well and many that did and I learned the hard way to drive a screw into the shelves that hold the heavier items. One screw is enough to keep it from shifting and possibly falling off the cleat.

Very well done! I love the French cleat style storage wall. We had it in our previous home's wood workshop and we are re-installing it in our current one.

It comes in quite handy to store and display tools for easy access and you can customize each section to hold screwdrivers, chisels, power drills, squares, etc.. Some photos of the old workshop's system
