What fun it was to design / build this teak shower bench for the customers new home. The wood is so nice to work with as the oils in it make the scrapers and planes glide. My JK plane loved it.

I am sure they will love it! The depth of the finish you achieved on the teak is great.

Teak is wonderful wood to work with, pity it is so expensive. Your bench is gorgeous well done.

That’s a great looking bench. I have a hunk of 8/4 teak that’s been sitting in my pile for years and I intend to make a shower “caddy” for shampoo etc. out of it. I’m wondering – what finish did you use? I can’t see the label in the 2nd picture ;) Whatever it is, it looks great…
