I finished turning these 10 inch bowls today, i had them rough turned about 2 months ago and today decided to finish the turning part.
made of granadillo or Honduras rosewood, which is a close related species to cocobolo. they only have a layer of sealer, still don’t know what finish will put on them, maybe some lacquer or marine varnish.
very difficult to turn, but the end result is something that i really like, i do most bowl to sell, but know i having second thoughts and maybe i will keep them.
thanks

Nayo.

Beautiful bowls! Just show them to your wife…you’ll keep them! What about a ssimple wax finish buffed to a satin or high gloss?

Gorgeous bowls! You have to keep at least one of them.
