Hello Lumber jocks fans, sorry I have not posted new projects lately. We have had an extremely busy year so far with just life stuff. I did this coffee table restore project for my friend, well the old table they brought me was just junk! When I went to disassemble the old table it was just epic failure! So a restore job turned out to be a new table build, I did loose my shirt but there good friends and I had all the materials left over from other jobs so my cost was about $3.00 in screws and my time. I took two pieces of cedar and laminated them together to get the with I wanted. This was the first table with a shelf I made in this style and I really like it, so there might be more like this in the near future. I used the liquid epoxy for the finish on the top to give it a hard glass like finish.

Todd, That is absolutely beautiful. I just love that Red Cedar. Great job on the table and I like the shelf idea.
Thanks for showing.

That turned out very nice. I need to try that bar top epoxy. Any tips or cautions?

Cool design with the tray underneath. One more fan of the wood here.

im a big fan of cedar, and love the finish, how exactly did you get the mirror like finish with the liquid epoxy. did you have to sand and buff it alot?

I like everything you’ve done with this table, the red cedar, the thick live edge top and the finish. Sure your friends will love it.

Beautiful table! The top is gorgeous and like the bottom tray for additional storage. Awesome work!
