Beads of Courage Box

A customer contacted me looking for a pattern for Beads of Courage. I was not familiar with this program. Their carving club makes boxes and decorates them before donating them to children in the hospital. They keep their beads in the box.

After seeing the work this program is doing with very sick kids, I agreed to chip carve a box that they could use as a donation for one child. It didn’t take long to carve and hopefully will make one child very happy. Also, I hope it will inspire carving club members to carve many more like it as a blessing to many children.

Thanks for looking. More info at:

I’ve just started carving for fun. Lately, I have been looking at your work. It is just amazing to me. This one is so clean and to my eye it looks perfect.

Thanks for being a lumber jock and sharing your masterpieces.

I’m going to be looking at your posts with an eye toward learning instead of just outright astonishment.

-- Thanks for all the lessons!

Your great carving made this box beautiful. Like the cute designs and pretty fonts.
