Grumpymike—I used a shop-made texturing tool:
Eddie Castelin did a YouTube video ( http://youtu.be/G1DR3Ptv1QQ ) on making these tools. It has a spherical magnet at the bottom of hole with a bronze bushing and ball-bearing.

The rotary burr came from Grizzly.
