Decided to make a thick Ash entry way table. I added 2 strips of walnut to give it some contrast.

Great job. I think ash is to often overlooked for projects.

Looks nice, I like the contrasting walnut strips. What kind of finish did you use?
I’m working with ash on a couple projects now and really like using it.

I used Danish Oil stain and min wax wipe on poly. I put on 6 coats of the poly.

It looks great and solid. Like the gorgeous wood combo especially the walnut strips and great finish. Great job!
