Live Edge Cherry Shelf

My daughter wanted this cherry slab for a shelf but didn’t want any visible brackets. I ended up using 12” lag bolts drilled into each stud then cut the heads off so I could “slide” the shelf onto the rods. That process turned out to be a lot more difficult than I first anticipated but the end result speaks for itself.

that really does look nice and floats well. I hope the lag screw method works, sounds good in theory.
