Towel rail

Project by pinkfish posted 426 days ago 296 views 2 times favorited 5 comments Add to Favorites Watch

A towel rail, done with maple and padauk. I joined the padauk to the maple with a mortise and tenon, then screwed the whole thing to the wall.

Nice contrasts. Very clean appearance. I’d give it a 92, if a mag rack was mounted under it with wood mags or shop notes, then it would be a solid 100. Overall, this should be the standard for how to build a towel rack. Nice job.
