so here is my newest creation. it’s a clarsach stand. considering i only get to do maybe 3 hours a week building things, it still took way too long; the finish itself took over a month to finish! the woods are: walnut, padauk and figured birch/beech (i can never remember what i bought). the finish is basically the same from the “pop the grain” episode over at the woodwhisperer. although, i had to do some mixing of the transtint dyes to get a decent color. i’ll prob’ly rub the piece with some paper bag to cut down on some of the shine though. hope ya’ll enjoy it.

Nice creation. The colour is eyes catching.
I like the wood figure very very much. It a nourishing art by nature.
