Hedgehog Pencil Case

In the latest (likely futile) attempt to teach my kids to tidy up, I made them this Hedgehog shaped pencil case from some pine offcuts I had in the garage. The idea is that they will want to see him all spiky, so they will clean up once they are done drawing, high hopes I know. :-)

It was fun to make though, I made a video of the build and have a bit more about it on my website if you’re so inclined.

i bet they loved the gift even if its not always full with picked up pencils

Great idea. He looks good. My two year old has crayons from one end to the house to the other.

Cheers guys, the kids love him, they get to carry him around the place, and for a whole 2 days there has been NO pencils on the couch! Success!
