This is a table for my parents. It has a 6/4 white oak top, walnut legs, and maple wedges. Everything fits nice and tight, yet it is still a breeze to take down and put back together so I am very pleased with the way it turned out. It has a boiled linseed oil finish.

Beautiful table. How did you secure the top to the legs? It looks like it is pinned with dowels, but that would be difficult to take down.

Thanks guys!

ddockstader: The top is attached with dowels. They are 5/8 inch dowels and I just use a 1/2 inch dowel and a couple taps from a hammer to knock them out. Luckily everything aligns properly so it is easy to pop them out.

I like it! Simple but elegant with great choices on the materials! I think I will add this to my list of things I must make. Great job!
