I came up with this idea for a local wine store that sells wine related crafts. It is kind of a serving tray that holds the wine, glasses and has a cutting board for slicing cheese or whatever. it is all mortised together for strength. It is made out of scrap mahogany that I had from an old heavy door I salvaged and turned into usable lumber. The door was not worth saving because or so much damage but it did have a lot of usable wood on it.
I built 2 of them at the same time for the store to see if they would like it. The wife saw it and likes it so now I have to make some more.

That is an awesome idea Mark. I am sure it will go over big at the wine store.

Great idea! Like the functional and innovative design, a cutting board and wine holder in one. Awesome work!

Have your say...
