A less than dramatic cutting board for the wife. However, it is made from mahogany that would have been discarded. It was given to me by someone who had leftover pieces of mahogany from one of those display things in a high-end grocery store. I also did a woodburning detail to the top right corner of the cutting board of an old tree (picture 2). This project is by no means anything dramatic, but I have been uber-productive in the garage lately, so I thought I’d post it just because. I would have made it a little thicker, but my wife wanted it this thickness so she wins out. It is finished just with mineral oil and was sanded to 220 grit. It feels good to make some space on the counter in the garage! Thanks for looking.
