Lumpy 2.
I finished this box today and took a bunch of photos but I am not satisfied with any of the picts. Somehow I can not get the sides and front to come out sharp and clear. They always have a milky appearance to them.
I will post more photos when I get the photos that I am satisfied with.

You mean it gets better than this? Wow. Awesome wood. Beautiful box.

This is one of your best ones yet Greg! Stunning wood grain and color!

Great box and dynamite wood selection. My first quick look at photo 1 reminded me of someones toes on the top right. LOL.
I see what you mean with the pictures. It’s as if your getting too much sheen from the light. Well done

Wow! That wood is just gorgeous (probably doesn’t grow wild in Oklahoma though :( )

People that read my comments on your boxes probably think we’re related with all of the superlatives I give out. But… your boxes are fantastic, and this one is simply gorgeous. I would love to see you craft one of these in person someday!

Thank you everyone. I made this box using Cocobolo…one of my favorite woods. It is a strange wood in that one piece can be so uniquely beautiful and another will have a bland grain pattern. This is from one of several large boards I bought years ago with the intention of making a dining table…but some of the boards were awesome and some were bland…and I didn’t want to make a dining table top unless they were all awesome pieces.
