Walnut Hollow Form

This one is made from a pretty unique piece of Walnut, English Walnut grafted with Black Walnut. It was cut close enough to the graft to get some colors from both. Its roughly 12” tall by about 6 at its widest, hollowed to about 3/8” wall thickness. It has a small inlay ring of curly maple at the rim. I didnt manage to get any pictures of the finished form with finial but I did snap a couple while it was still in the (messy) shop. The finish is Deft hi gloss lacquer.
