New Kreg Jig Workstation

I needed a slimmed-down version of my Kreg Jig box to fit in one of the compartments of my new table saw base for easy storage. I also didn’t like the flip-up lid because the hinges and latch constantly loosened as I moved it around. So, I made a new workstation with a drawer for storage. Nothing too exciting, just a box with a drawer with the jig and extension wings mounted on top. But it works great and it fits in its place.

Nice work, everything you need on one place. That’ll work.

Nice work. I find that I get much more work done when I am organized and can actually find what I am looking for.

Good Solution. I really like the organization in the drawer.

Thanks! I took a lesson learned from my prior Kreg box to make this one more efficiently. To cut the dadoes for all of the inserts, I made dado cuts in a single piece of large stock and then cut the inserts from that piece as needed (instead of cutting dadoes in each insert separately).

The irony of making a organizer for your pocket hole jig without using pocket holes!

Kidding aside, I love this. It certainly is a better and neater way of organization than what I currently have.

Good work!
