Still at it with my dewalt scroll saw. We have a scifi convention coming up soon and im trying different patterns trying to decide what I’m going to donate to their auction.

I can’t take credit for the design as it was the result of a quick google.

Also if I had my time back I wouldn’t have done it in oak seeing as it has a nice crack in the top right.

The second image is the pattern I used.

Very cool! Good choice of wood as well.

Cheers!

I just added the pattern image to my post. I believe I found it by just doing an image search of doctor who. found an image of a bookmark and cut/cropped/re-sized it.

That’s pretty sweet. I’m always amazed at what AMAZING beauty can come from a board and a silhouette.

Very nice. If my wife saw it she’d be throwing money your way.

Wow!

I think this would look great in Rose wood!

Great Job!

If you don’t like the way it looks in Oak just paint it TARDIS Blue. :)

I like the work and the subject matter! Nice job! I used to watch Dr. Who when Tom Baker was the fourth Dr. Who.

Of late I have been toying with the idea of making a Tardis model as a gift for a retired colleague of mine who was just awarded ”Time Lord” award for all his work on precision timing capabilities over Ethernet, the IEEE 1588 standard.

Very nice! I am a big fan of the Doctor. Might just have a Tardis picture I like…

Couldn’t you just go back in time and cut down the tree before it developed the crack?

My vote for TARDIS blue too.
