My first ever bandsaw box! still have a lot to learn about the finer practices of working with bandsaw/tuning but i think it turned out okay…made from some very old reclaimed pine that I laminated together…the knobs are oak squares. Finished with danish oil and wipe on poly.

“B” is for a beaut box, welcome to the world of bandsaw box making where you can be rewarded for your creativity and the usual rules of box making don’t apply.

looks good. better than my first one—my only one so far. what size band saw blade were you using? the gap on one end of my drawers was a monster. looks like yours aren’t so bad at all. some guys get them perfect, and I’m sure its the use of a 1/8” blade that does it.

i think its a 1/4” blade…but i dont think my bandsaw is tuned properly…it likes to skip and jump off the line…i think i just got lucky on the glue-up and have a distracting grain pattern

Great looking box! Like the unique shape and the look of the laminated old reclaimed pine. Great job!
