A commission from Dr. Aka of Phoenix, AZ to house his burgeoning pipe collection. Made to his specification without
a great deal of artistic license. Made of dyed quarter sawn White Oak and quarter sawn and flat sawn Cherry.

Drawers are made to house tins of tobacco and paraphernalia.

I drove 1857 miles one way from Wildwood, GA to deliver the piece to him. As it turns out his home is in a very posh area of Phoenix and is literally next door to the mansion of the late Paul Harvey.

-- Cheers!

It’s great to have an entry today by your very capable craftsmanship. Very well done, Sir. I recently viewed and reviewed your web site by browsing your name after not hearing anything on this site since the construction of your fathers casket some time ago. That site is certainly a great visit to your works and abilities. Please keep LJ’s up to date with your commissions.

Really nice work, and a cross country drive to go with it, did you do any sight seeing on the drive?
