If a person didn’t recognise the wood in this ornament, the nut would give them a pretty strong hint.

Claro walnut with nut. Finished with turner’s polish and Rub ‘n Buff metallic wax.

Now this is unique! Very clever design. Wouldn’t work here, because my fiends would surely eat it…....

Doe, that is one of the most creative ways of using a walnut I have ever seen. Great job.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking of doing the same thing with pecan. It should be easier because it’s less bumpy.
