If a person didn’t recognise the wood in this ornament, the nut would give them a pretty strong hint.

Claro walnut with nut. Finished with turner’s polish and Rub ‘n Buff metallic wax.

Thanks everyone. I was thinking of doing the same thing with pecan. It should be easier because it’s less bumpy.
