This was a simple project made special because it was my son’s idea that we worked on together. Walnut with maple inlay finished with Danish oil and wax. The challenge for this project was making a jig that enabled us to make mirror image grooves.

Thanks for looking.

Nice display rack Clayton. Wish I still had all my old albums. Kids nowadays don’t know what an LP is.

Great display idea.
I still have my albums from the 60’s. There isn’t a rack big enough.

Nice job from a father and son team. That would look good next to my turntable! I have close to five hundred LP’s in my racks and having a few i’m currently listening to b the stereo is a great idea.

Nicely done, Clayton, and working with your son is great! Something I didn’t get enough of as a kid!

Like the maple inlay.

Never getting rid of my vinyl collection…guess that makes me old! LOL
(no 8-track tapes, though)

Like this minimalistic design very much. Implementation is great too.

Very cool. I’ll have to show this to my son. The wood combination and design are sweet. Well done to the both of you!

That turned out great Clayton! I bet it was a blast working with your boy as well. Have a friend I may have to try something similar for.

Sweet. I dig the style and execution. But, what’s an “album?” lol
