Trying to come up with some new ideas for signs

Project by TheKingsTreasures posted 428 days ago 312 views 0 times favorited 6 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I am trying out some new sign ideas. These are a little different then I have made but thats good, I like them. We are taking them to the sale tomorrow so we will see how other folks like them. These are done on red cedar, freehanded with the router then painted in with black paint.

Cute signs. I hope they are well received. Thanks for sharing.

I always get a chuckle from one my mentor made and posted whenever he did a craft show…

‘warning unattended children will be given soda, candy and a Puppy!’

which usually brought a nervous chuckle or two… and a couple of sales.

Camp Grandpa was one that we made a few times in our school fundraiser when we made signs. we can only do signs every other year or so. all the teachers already have them. One year we sold 50, the next year 10.

A winner there I reckon .. particularly liked the bear… another project for the list <<grin>>

I wonder of the gone fishin’ should be a fish using the hartwood as the body and the lighter wood and the fin tips… something to think about
