I built this toy box for a friend’s newborn daughter Clara. She’s only 3 months old, so she didn’t really express much interest in it, but I’m sure she’ll love it in future.

The main box and lid are good one side plywood, and the skirting and such are poplar. Handles are from Lee Valley Tools, as is the soft-close lid support.

It’s pretty and well made, like the colors and the choice of hardware. If she’s big enough, she will always remember you that you made it specially for her. Great job!
