I haven’t seen any wine racks for less than 4 or 6 bottles, and wanted something small, but nice enough to fit with the surroundings of the kitchen at my friends’ vacation home.
They love their wine, so I thought what better to make for them, than a “small” bottle holder.
There’s also a cheese cutting board not pictured, as well as a cheese knife and cork puller/bottle opener, with walnut handles (not pictured), that goes with this rack.
Woods used are Soft Maple (Re-store find for $1- 7 1/2” x 48”) for the case and glass holders, Black Walnut for the rack and handles, Red Oak for the “tray” on top and purple heart for accent around the top.
I hope you like it,
R

Thanks guys. I have such a small amount of 1/4” purple heart left form a piece I bought several years ago for @$8 for a 8”w x 54” pc. I REALLY try to save it as much as possible, before I have to buy more.
