Just completed this Walnut Bookshelf last week-end, made from pieces of Walnut from my stash. Had to glue and dowel the uprights and shelves together to get the width I needed. I used sliding dovetails for the shelf joinery, which worked great. I left the top shelf unglued so it can be removed if desired. Second picture shows some nice figuring on the top shelf. Last picture is a close-up of one of the sliding dovetails. Finished it with Sam Maloof Poly-Oil finish, I love that stuff.
