I really enjoy making bandsaw boxes, so I thought it would be fun to try to make a bandsaw vase. This was made using a similar process, but I really had to think about each cut and plan ahead so I wouldn’t ruin it. It turned out great and I actually ended up with TWO vases, which was totally unexpected. The smaller vase is the cutoff from the inside of the larger vase. They are made from Western Red Cedar and Southern Yellow Pine and finished with Deft Clear Wood Finish spray. These made great a great set of Mother/Daughter vases for Valentine’s Day. Below are some links to my video, plans, and more info on this project if you are interested. Thanks, Steve…

Another great project Steve. I like the two tone and the shape is very complimentary to flora.

Your video was great. I think I could make one (or two) of these.
