Made from scraps a while ago. It was one of my first projects when I started woodworking again a couple of years ago. I used Vermont Maple water-based stain, and the water-based ploycrylic top coat. It was perfectly sized for my apartment bathroom, and all of my sailing magazines. It is of my own design. The spindles are half-lapped onto the rails. It ended up being surprisingly difficult to get everything aligned vertically.

Just the ticket for near the throne in my workshop bathroom. I will attempt it soon.
Thanks for the idea.

A very simple but elegant design for a magazine rack. I will surely make one for me.

Nice job, that’s one of the small projects on my honey do list.
