This 12”x16”x3/4” that is made of walnut, maple, padauk, bloodwood. You can’t really see the bloodwood but it is on the edges of the board

Nice design and execution. There are really some exacting cuts needed to pull this off, and you succeeded.
My only critique, if you build another one, is to form a pattern with the grain directions.

A nod to the original inspiration would’ve been nice. Looks well put together, though.

Cutting board? Who do you think enough of that you would let them put a knife to anything that nice?

I am new to this board, but it is the second place I have seen comments about someone having an original design for argyle. Argyle is simply a pattern made up of diamonds and it has been around for ever. So how can there be an owner of the original design.
It is a very nice board.
