This is two pieces of 3/4 oak ply trimmed in solid oak. I reused adjustable metal legs i found. When trying to glue this up i realized I didn’t have long enough clamps so i made do with ratcheting tie downs.

I thought laminating the 2 pieces of ply would keep it super straight but it ended up with a little cupping. Still very useable and looks ok.

I was itching to use my new bosch 1617 router about as much as needing to replace the glass top I’d been using – so it was a win win!

A useful project and great idea for clamping the edges! Enjoy that new router!
