I needed a couple of plant stands and decided that I had enough scrap materials in the cut off bin to build a couple of them. The material is clear pine and the plan is to seal and then stain (once the ice stops falling in South Carolina!).
This is an adaptation of the plans that I obtained from Rod Johnson's Woodworking Shop web site. I added the front/back apron to both the top and the shelf to give it a little more visual balance.

Nice work. I like the addition of the aprons. The design could make nice end or bedside tables if the height is right.

A bit of snow falling and more to come in WNC mountains, too cold to get into the shop.

They look great and sturdy. Very nice way to display with the plants indoor and will last long. Great job!

Have your say...
