Great reuse of wood and love the layout of the wood. Nice job keeping the wood uts in order to allow the grain to flow.

Handsome box, and a nice way to feature the grain of poplar.
I can’t get over how beautiful the grain of poplar is when I see stacks of it in the big box stores. It’s so easy to work with and so easy to find nice pieces of it. It’s my go-to wood of choice for painted projects. I even tried to “cherry-ize” it once on a cedar chest. A lot of work but the natural grain of poplar made it worth the effort.

Who would have thought that a pallet could create a beautiful box. Great save.
