I’ve been turning for just under a year now. Still learning and getting the technique. This was my first attempt using inlay material. I was on vacation in Hawaii this year and my wife spotted a sign that said Aloha Woods so I had to go. I ordered a bunch of wood and had it shipped back. This was a bowl blank of Koa (Beautiful wood) that I think turned out rather well. It is 6” W x 3 1/4 H.

Where at in Hawaii was Aloha Woods? I might be going there next year. Would love to get more Koa.

This is a very nice looking bowl.

Your bowl came out really beautiful. Like the gorgeous Koa and the inlay is a great accent. Great job!
