This little table is 12” tall and the top is 10”x10” made fro curly redwood. The base is burled pine. It was custom made for a piece of porcelain art. The corners of the redwood are inlaid with turquoise. It has an oil finish…. a fun little piece to make

Quite a gnarly piece! What type of oil are you using for the finish? What type of sanding tools do you like to use on the organic surfaces?

It takes a lot of imagination to come up with such a unique design.

It looks great!

Tim and Candy,

That is really a unique pine burl. What a great choice for the base.

Thank you all, it was nice being able to work on a smaller more simple project that is still one of a kind. The burl base was lightly sanded by hand, we try to leave it as natural as possible….
