I foumd this slab of Koa on my property (left from the previous owner) half burried and mostly rotted out. I simply took what slices I could, cleaned them up wirh a light sanding, and added a clear sealer. I set them up for my wife’s birthday, and she loves them.

how are these mounted to the wall, drywall anchors never seem to last for me.

@ whitebeast88 Thank you. I’m just glad I was able to save some of the wood from rotting away.

@ Blakespert I used some flat wall mount brackets, and ran long screws into studs where I could, and drywall anchors for the rest. Each shelf has at least ome screw in a stud, and two in the long shelf.
