Porch Swing

This is a porch swing that I designed it myself. I made it with the intentions of having the strongest swing possible and have it still be comfortable. The dado in the bsck increases strength and reduces the space taken up by the back. I constructed it with treated wood so that I would not have to do any finishing and worry about bugs. I made two of them for someone and they love them. I made them strong enough to hold four plus people just in case there was an overload on them. I really like to make outdoor furniture like this. They are the most comfortable swings I have ever sat on.

Very nice work, I have a cedar swing frame and now I will add a swing and use it. Thanks for posting.

Looks great and sturdy. A must have if you have space in front of porch or backyard, a great addition for the family to enjoy and relax. Great work!
