Girlfriend loves cats, I hate cat scratching, so here was the quickie fix. Made one out of some old American Chestnut previously part of a salvaged built-in cabinet, the other is Catalpa. Strategically placed around the most abused rugs or furniture makes both me and the cats happy : )

I have seen those carboard cat scratch refills at the pet store before. I have been wanting to build a frame such as these for a couple of them. Great work!

They look good, very nice wood and joints. The cats will love them and the girlfriend will love you. Great job!

That looks like a very smart solution for a practical problem. Nice work.
