I found the plans for these guns on youtube. There is a link for the plans on the youtube site. The plans are metric and I had to convert to inches and when I did, I had to adjust sizes of some of the pieces. I also decided to purchase thicker plywood and cut the pieces out rather than gluing thinner plywood together like he shows in the video.

Haha, pretty neat. I had one similar, although no where near as detailed, when I was a kid. Could you by chance provide a link to the youtube vid, this is something I think my son would enjoy, much to the chagrin of my wife.
