I have no idea what “style” one would call this. Primarily Curly Maple, with Walnut banding, Bird’s Eye Maple and Walnut inlays front and back. Brusso hardware and black velvet lining. The inlay on the lid is Hard Maple, Walnut, and Padauk. Through dovetails finish of the corners.

Theres a lot going on with that box so maybe the style is interesting? Nicely done. Welcome to LJ’s.

It’s an unusual design and looks great.

I’d call it ‘cool’ style. Nice job, I like the banding in the middle. pops the piece. -A

I make chests for a hobby and I would of never thought of doing banding and inlays like this. Just when you seen it all, someone comes up with a unique design such as yours, It kind of reminds me of the SouthWest designs involng the Phoenix and Native American style, but different. I don’t know exactly what it is called, I like it, I like the contrasting colors. Its original.

I guess I’ll just call it the McCoy style. Thanks for the comments, they’re greatly appreciated.
