This box is something I made because I just wanted to see how it would look (the cherry and walnut sides) due to the fact that my girlfriend wanted her bedroom set in this desighn, exept in walnut and maple and without the live-edge. So here it is and tell me what you all think. I finished this box with 2 coats of shellac and three coats of tung-oil.

Wonderful job on this small box. I imagine that the joining of the two woods on the curve had to be very difficult. I love the rough look of the top and the proportions of the side thickness to the top and bottom thickness.
