Honduras mahogany (two piece glue up) 9”x13”x3.90” What can I say, I love the Green man image. That and my dad said, after seeing the Catalpa Green man, I could make him one. Explored a lot more detail, depth and motion with this piece and learned how difficult deep plunge cutting can be at times! Mahogany is a blessing to work with even though it likes to fracture at corners sometimes, so I learned to be careful. There will be more Green men in the future, I have a big chunk of walnut just waiting for an image. Finish is tung oil.

That’s too cool! A person has to be patient to do something like that. At least I think so. Good job. That would look great hanging on a wall in my home.

Thank you all for the positive responses! I feel blessed to be among such good company. If anyone is truly interested in such a piece, I do commission work, however I am not sure if I can discuss that here as I am new to the site….is there a place on this site to purvey our work to interested buyers? Someone let me know if there is, I don’t want to get in trouble!
