If you have seen my other maple boxes, then you know wha this one is like inside. Also with puple heart lift and wood dowel hinges. This one was the lesson on burning the edges of the maple petals to show contrast and shading . I love this box and plan on making a watch box out of it.
The leaves were fun using two different colors of green to get the contrasts…

On this one I used English Oak for the background and walnut piping in a base of mahogany.
