Another maple box, with plywood veneered lid. South American Mahogany veneered top background, and my friends 12 string hummingbird guitar marquetry project. The 12 string tuner pieces were approximately 1mm squares… The inside lid features another of the scroll pieces I cut for a class project. The lift was maple and the pull was cherry.

Three very nice projects. It’s always good to see another LJ taking up marquetry.
Where did you take your course?

Another gorgeous box! Very well crafted especially the eye catching top. It’s beautiful inside and out.
